In this course you'll learn the fundamentals of Python for use in Science and Engineering disciplines. We'll build a firm foundation of understanding of the syntax and structure of the Python language, then build on that to give you the tools for fast, efficient computation in NumPy. Along the way, we'll have an engineer-friendly introduction to Object-Oriented Programming in Python. On the last day, we'll have a brief introduction to Pandas, a popular library for data analysis that builds everything we've learned about Python and NumPy.
With lots of live demos, instructor interaction, and plenty of exercises to walk through, everyone can benefit, from Python novices to veteran programmers. Some prior exposure to programming is recommended.
